Gaétan FRANCOIS is Managing Partner at Baker Tilly Audit & Assurance. He is CSSF registered independent auditor (“Réviseur d'entreprises agréé”).
He has a strong background in auditing asset management firms, with significant experience in Management companies, UCITS, UCI, SIF, fund of hedge funds and Cayman funds.
In 2001, Gaétan started working with a Luxembourg “Big Four” audit firm where he was dedicated to the audit of investment funds. In 2017, Gaétan joined a non “Big Four” audit firm as Senior Manager in the investment funds team. Since, he has also earned experience in the audit of professional financial sector's companies and also securitisation vehicles.
In 2018, Gaétan took the opportunity to join Baker Tilly Luxembourg as Partner in order to continue his career in the different industries where he has gained a strong expertise.
He has a Master degree in Commercial and Financial Sciences from the University FuCAM Mons (Belgium).
Gaétan speaks French (mother tongue) and English.
